I will stamp all over 'credible boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize the upcoming boxing match.

Former two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making massive earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.

Size Difference

As the two fighters engaged in the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
